Narcissistic Lead

It’s fitting that this is told in 1st person narrative because the main character is me, me, me, I, I, I! I literally wanted someone to smack some sense into her. Alas I don’t know if that makes this writer a genius or not but it does keep you interested.

Kept me guessing until the end...

I really could not stop listening because I wanted to find out what the heck happened! A good psychological mystery, though not what I would consider suspenseful. Definitely worth the time it takes to listen.

Woah! Talk about sibling rivalry!

On the night of her HS prom, Cara Piper was involved in a terrible car accident...the one that took her boyfriend’s life...the one that had her sister imprisoned. Now, nearly two decades later, Cara is happily married with a daughter and a great job...and is always dealing with her sister’s self destructive tendencies. When Anna is in, yet another, rehab program, she begins to remember things...then suddenly what she’s been told over the years doesn’t add up. Fantastic story that keeps you in its grip...you never see the end coming!!

Intriguing story

Very captivating story from the get go pretty much. I enjoyed the twists and turns. The ending left me feeling unhappy that justice wasn't served, and hoping the truth would come out. My main complaint about the story was the constant descriptions of the small town as being so stale and awful and stereotypically white trash. Having lived in multiple small towns myself, I found the description to be too harsh. Other than that, I found myself racing to the finish to find out what happens next.

Not what I was expecting, very intense.

Story kept me on edge of my seat.
Narration was good. could have used more expression.
