Great series!

Here we are, a year after the outbreak, and things aren't slowing down. Sgt Hale and his group are trying to survive any way they can, but when they are sent to get much needed medical supplies, secrets, lies and betrayals are unveiled. Meanwhile Mr Black is after the rumoured cure and will do anything to get it! He sends out Mercenaries with the orders to kill any and everyone who gets in the way.

The action never stops in this edition. There seems to be rumour going around of a possible cure and everyone wants a bit of it. Mr Black is the only one willing to do anything to get it!! This goes back and forth between Mr Black, Sgt Hales' group and the Corporal Jefferson whom survives the attack to get the vaccine. I loved that we got to see everything that was going down with each group. It's non stop for each of them and I couldn't stop reading!

Andrew B. Wehrlen was, once again, amazing. He was clear and easy to listen to. He gave each character their own personality, and he even had a good Irish accent, ;) Well, I think it was Irish anyway!!

I was given this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This in no way affected nor influenced my thoughts.

Operation Zulu: Dead Island Ravenous

Good continuation of the story. Mr. Black is as evil as ever. I really like Mr. Wehrlen delivery. I received this audio book for free through Audiobook Boom for my unbiased review.

Great continuation of the series

OK, so with this book we are back to the "present" where book 1 ends. Well, a bit in the future, but that's not important. Anyway, from the first few minutes, the action takes off and carries the same pace throughout. What I loved most about this book is the author manages to work in more layers and an actual plot (beyond just survival). The narrator does a fantastic job on this book, but with Andrew Wehrlen, that is not really a surprise to anyone familiar with his work. All in all, I'm definitely fired up and ready for book 4!

It Rocks

Operation Zulu: Dead Island Ravenous. Military/Contractor zombie books really work, (I'm not sure why) but they do! And this one is excellent, top class entertainment. Fast paced, intriquing plot with quite a few sub plots. Totally engaging.
Andrew's style is totally suited to this style with its military wisecracking cameradery.
Great read love the series.

Really enjoy this series

I've read a ton of zombie books and when I mean a ton I really do mean it lol. I have always enjoyed the zombie military series the most and this one is no exception. It has some of the most exciting action I've read in a while and its really cool to see a continuation of where it all began. The first book in the series was a pulse pounding ride that didn't let up.

I received this audio book in exchange for an honest review.

The zombie apocalypse continues!

The sarge and his crew are back. The ex spec ops are now nerds for a security company. They continue to get the short end of the stick. Sent on a mission with new commander and new operators to get medicine while some of the team escorts a cure to Area 51. Betrayals and lies abound. The zombies and battles are great with some hilarious twists. Wonderfully narrated. Wehrlen’s got the voice for this style of book. Really conveys the gritty characters.
