absolutely epic!

move over uthred of bebbenburg theres a new star in town. this is seriously my favorite book I've purchased thru audible. I can hardly wait for part 2 and 3!

Excellent pacing and interesting characters.

This book is admirably written, it’s not your average Viking tale. The writer, T.L. Greylock has worked with other big names in the business but as with so many things Audible produces, they begin a series and then make up convenient excuses as to why the last 3 books, often having been on the market for decades, are unavailable.. She has another series which more closely fits Audible’s political ideology, needless to say they have pushed its subsequent titles through as fast as the writer could finish them. I am of the opinion that if you are going to begin a series you have a responsibility to finish it. No doubt the gender of the main character plays a role and her second series more thoroughly sticks to the tried, true, and gut-wrenchingly trite bullet-points that are expected in anything calling itself modern literature. The absolute best accolade any “critic” can dream up and one that never fails to make me laugh is “deliciously subversive.” Considering the fact that according to the radical left we all believe as they do, how does one go about deliciously subverting themselves. One final point, unilaterally destroying our ability to sample the book we are considering buying has to be one of the stupidest sales techniques in history. The narrator is key to enjoying a book which is delivered in an audio format. Cutting out the already churlish 5 minutes of story is equally as insulting. You took an established and working program feature and destroyed it on a whim. Have the common sense to recognize when you have made a mistake and simply walk it back. As I said before, I admire the author and I believe she has a bright and positive future ahead of her. She deserves it.

Absolutely incredible. Gritty and timeless, feels like a classic. The depth and development of the characters will have you missing them after you're finished. I need another book!

I loved it need other 2 books to be audible

it was a great story there are 2 more to complete the the trilogy I cannot find the the next 2 edda in audible here I wish to get the other 2 books in audible thanks a great listen
