This book is... damn hard to find words to use in a review. It is just plain bizarre but oddly engaging. The narration is done well and for the couple hours of this book, I found myself entertained. It is dark, though, and quite twisted. So be warned before taking this crazy journey.

Okay, so this story was amazing. I was immediately drawn into how deliciously weird it was and it kept me riveted throughout. 'The Drip Drop Prophet' was honestly the strangest thing I may have ever experienced. I loved it!!!! With the kind of content that I regularly consume, it is very hard to surprise me. This one really did startle me in the most delightful ways. I enjoyed every moment of this weirdness from top to bottom and if you're a weird, freak like me, you'll love this one too. Dr. Benjamin Anthony delivers a fabulous performance. I would recommend this book to absolutely anyone who likes to step outside the box once in a while.

The askew view of the author is amazing. After listening to the first chapter I had to pause and say WTF. As I continued on the story it drew me in with the bizarre imagery. Behind all of this is a very human story of obsession and loneliness. The short stories at the end where amazing. Especially Violet Crime. I also enjoyed the narrator, his voice was clear, deep and conveyed the story in a great way.

Have you ever done acid? I haven't, but I imagine it would be something like The Drip Drop Prophet. Austin James takes a love story (?) and twists it into something horrific and beautiful. He takes what you think you know and slaps it around until what you know punches you in the face with insanity.

The prose is great and the story is bizarre and unexpected. You should listen to this book if only to discover if you are as crazy as it is.

Also, the other stories are fantastic. Well worth it.
