Axel and Shelby

A heartbreaking and beautifully intense second chance romance. Shelby and Axel are both broken and embark on a journey of letting go of the past, learning to live again after all the hurt. They were always meant to be together, they just need time to heal. I enjoyed this story.
Ryan West and Kirsten Leigh are fantastic, I liked listening to them bring these complex, heart broken people to life.

good story

It is a very familiar pattern when a family experience the loss of a child. the plot took too long to come forth.

Good story, great characters & awesome narrators!

I liked the story but I hated how Shelby wouldn't talk to Axel. It was really aggravating! It's a great group of characters and worth a listen. Really awesome narrators and I'll be looking for more from them in future.

Axel is So Sexy!

Cover photo and narrator make Axel so intense. Add the depth of love he has for Shelby (kudos to the author) and this book was quite worth the read. At times the dialogue is annoying (he said, she said, I said, ugh!) and Shelby can be annoyingly confused as well, but thanks to Axel’s appeal, all else is forgiven. ;)
