Mason Dixon bk 1

This was a fun and funny book.Mason has a video show about chasing cryptids.His buddy was killed by one,yet he still has compassion for them. I enjoyed narration by Joel L Froomkin. I was given this book by the narrator,author or publisher free for an honest review.

What a hoot!

What a hoot! I am a huge fan of well written Cryptid stories  and "Smart-Ass" stories. Books like Seanan McGuire's InCryptid series, Jim Butcher's Bigfoot novella's, and now, Mason Dixon, Monster Hunter.
I fell in love with Mason Dixon (a YouTube vlogger) right off the bat, as he's tracking down a locally known, infamous Gowrow (a cryptid). With, Emma his trusty camera crew of one, they find themselves deep in the wilds of Missouri, confronting a problem...a man-eater!  
With our sharp-tongued, titular character, and lots of action, this tale plays out just right! You may also find a Sasquatch, and a Chaw-green... Yeah, it exists in folklore (I had to look it up though) LOL!
I see that the 2nd and 3rd books have been released, but I'm gonna hold out for the audio version, hopefully Joel Froomkin will be narrating them, because he's won me over with a marvelously Fun performance!
Mason Dixon, and all those things Cryptid will leave a smile on your face... but only if you get the book!

Another great series!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator does an excellent job especially with the accents. Eric has a way of creating wonderful in depth worlds. Can't wait for more.

Crocodile hunter n JC’s vampires meet cryptids

So our story starts with 2 guys dark woods a camera and something that should not exist. Only one guy and a camera with unbelievable footage make it out of this beginning. Our unlikely hero Mason Dixon partners up with another old friend and a secret church society and uses his YouTube channel of cryptid hunting in real life. Yes folks it’s true monsters are among us, they lerk in the dark regions of our forests and our swamps some are good some are bad some go rogue and some just like to chew tobacco. Get ready for a wild and crazy romp with a couple of crazy cryptid hunters. Well written and well narrated enjoy it. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

great start

This was a very enjoyable listen. The narration was good with each character having their own distinctive voice. The story was interesting with action and humor interspersed throughout. I just wish it was a full length book instead of a novella because I need more cryptids.
