I found this to be a good little story. I enjoyed the clockwork and how she had used it to drive him mad.

YA Steampunk Short Story

Clockwork Dollhouse by Jordan Elizabeth is a YA Steampunk short story that I listened to on audio narrated by Lisa Hicks. This is the first book of Jordan’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. This is my first time reading a steampunk novel so it was a bit outside my usual genre but it was very entertaining and a bit creepy. I would recommend listening to this book while you can focus on the story. I got distracted and had to rewind a few times. Lisa did a great job narrating. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Steampunk, Young Adult, or Suspense stories.

Loved This!

Ainsley was an awesome character. I always love stories that have a kickass protagonist, and Ainsley fit that. The situation she was in was a rough one. As an orphan, it was up to her to reveal everything that her Uncle had done to their family, Ainsley’s mother included. The dolls her mother left behind carry all the clues to unlock every secret that Ainsley wants to bring to light.

Short, sweet, and full of suspense, this is an excellent little steampunk short story. Narration was spot on.

Gotta Love Steampunk

I really liked the concept of Clockwork Dollhouse. Using a child's dollhouse to expose the past was a unique way to incorporate steampunk into the world.

I enjoyed the author's style and I would definitely read more by her. I received this audiobook from the author/narrator/publisher in exchange for an honest review.
