1 REALLY GOOD STORY.

STORY IS EXTREMELY WELL-WRITTEN AND EASY TO FOLLOW. ACCEPTABLE FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES. NARRATOR IS GOOD AND EASY TO FOLLOW.
EAST COAST COMEDY, ROMANCE, DRAMA WITH LOTS OF LAUGHS AND GOOD HUMOR THROUGHOUT. KIND OF FOLLOWS THE STORYLINE OF THE MOVIE WE BOUGHT A ZOO.

Will she take a chance on the animals and on him?

No Time For Love is a sweet little romance set in a rather unusual location, a wildlife sanctuary. There were definite Hallmark movie vibes, big city girl falls in love with small-town guy, but it was still cute. It's not a deep read by any means so if you are looking for a light romance the first book in Raine English's No Brides Club might fit the bill. I will confess to getting annoyed with Kinsley several times as she behaves quite stereotypically for a high-powered New York City businesswoman. I also felt her belief that she “can have it all” was a bit silly, instead of just realizing that her priorities will continue to change and evolve as she goes through life. Anyway...

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and found it to be an easy way to keep my mind entertained for a few short hours while completing other tasks. The sound and production quality were good. I did appreciate the fact that there were two narrators, though the male narrator was much better than the female narrator. She had a way of tacking on phrases like 'she thought' and 'he said' as if they were a separate sentence and her enunciation was a bit off. However, I will say that her voice was a perfect match for Kinsley. As I mentioned, I did like the male narrator and he had a good grasp on creating different voices for the characters.

All in all this book was neither a hit nor a big miss for me. I was glad to have something to listen to while my hands were busy but I doubt I will go out of my way to read more of the series.

The best gifts are the ones you feel in your heart, but never saw headed your way. It's those surprises that keep us interested in the merry go round that life has in store. That's why I find the No Brides Club so inspiring. English has created a world full of strong women, but lost souls. No Time for Love is the beginning of one woman's journey. For Kinsley, her life is her career. It took tons of hard work to make it to the top and she has no plans to bow out now. Can a surprise bequest give her the life she never dreamed of or cost her the one she worked tirelessly to build? One act of love changes the course of her life and sets her on an unforgettable quest. Kinsley and Dylan are the best of what makes reading great.
