Arghhhh…again…

I’ve read several of this author’s books, and enjoy them for the most part. This one, though, had me blurting out curse words to the female character. I’ve determined that while I do like the passion & eventual happy ending of her books, I do NOT like that her characters seem so deeply broken to the point that they self-sabotage relationships. It just seems as if the author is trying to say that the brokenness in these characters is more the norm and not the exception.

Loved this book! I really very much enjoyed the narrators. They brought a whole other feel to this book with emotions. The story was fun, very sexy, and all I wanted to do was keep going! Wen and Kai are both amazing narrators with his sexy deep voice and her fun and flirty voice. I loved Jules and Griff and their love story is truly one of a kind. So cute. Goes to show love isn’t perfect but it can get pretty close to it.

This is my first read/listen of this series. A fun friends to lovers story that is brought wonderfully to life by the narrators.
