Good

Pretty good story, well written. I wouldn't classify it as fantastic or great, but it was good. Pretty solid and enjoyable, but more of a one time listen through. The ending was really well done though.

Great Book

Really kinda crazy how I found this.
Flashback June 1988: My family is vacationing in the Florida Keys. I walk into a local bookstore and find this book. Read the back cover and since I have time, start reading the first chapter. The store manager sees me and has a conniption fit and throws me out of the store.
Over the years since, I had occasionally looked for this book online, referencing as best I could, the title and synopsis; all to no avail.
FINALLY, June 2025: On a whim, I keyword search this book and voila! I find it both online and Audible. Naturally, I buy it!
I am not a 'horror' fan per se, but this was great. Got into the characters, big time. The narrator was good too.
Highly recommend this if you like an "easy read" and/or you enjoy a good supernatural revenge story.

Great funny horror

This was a funny horror book with amazing narration that brought the story to life.

A Great Paranormal/Horror Audibook

Kyle Walton narrated this book very well. A huge plus for me is how well a book is narrated and how the narrator portrays different voices. Walton does a fantastic job here. This works especially well since there are a lot of characters to follow and track. The story is very well written especially since it looks at the perspectives of multiple characters. Some stories fail to harmoniously incorporate different characters. However, in Floater, it works without a hitch. The characters are all likeable and relatable in some way. It does poke fun of some stereotypical horror archetypes, but Floater does it tastefully and with a purpose. There is a lot of good buildup and suspense which makes or break the story for me. This audiobook delivers that very well. Overall this is a fantastic audiobook that I recommended for fans of horror/paranormal.
