What a Gem! Fun, witty, complex love story.

This book was such a surprise, What a Gem for this genre!

Well written love story, complex characters, funny and witty banter along with some obstacles and deep emotions.


Story: 5 stars. I disagree with others, this book is not too long.
The love story develop gradually, characters are developed more deeply, we are invited into the relationship and understand why the characters fall in love with each other. And along the way, we fall in love with them.
Side characters are interesting, and I look forward to reading more books in the series.
Bravo Mia Vincy, keep writing please, and producing audiobooks!


Narration: 5 stars. It is superb as always. Kate reading has a rich voice, narrates and acts beautifully, distinguishes between characters and acts men voices well. She also adds a subtle comedic undertone, that is priceless. It’s like a vacation for my ears :-)


Heat factor: simmering to hot, as part of a committed relationship.

Laugh out loud repartee. Well crafted characters. Engaging story. Kate Reading at her best. Audible, if you must, get on bended knee to pull another like this from Mia. Please. I beg you!

Great humor!

I’m an avid romance listener and most are more on the serious side. This title however had me laughing out loud so often my husband kept coming into the kitchen while I was doing my baking and when I was busy painting walls wondering what in the world was going on! Highly recommended if you like a few laughs with your daily dose of romance!

Everything about this book was amazing, tears of joy tears of sadness, humorous, and original story not the same as all the others.

I did enjoy the book finished it in only 2 days there was some redundancy but overall good.
