Action packed

I absolutely enjoyed these action packed stories . The narrator’s voice made it that much better. Loved the suspense, action, passion, and twists that make it an exciting read. It was so hard to take my headphones off with this one.

Intense

Rebel's Retribution is a beautifully woven tale about three individuals' whose lives have intertwined over the years. Kelly Moore is an exceptional author, her ability to write the poignant scenes is remarkable. I genuinely liked the main characters, they are engaging and three-dimensional with depth and vulnerabilities.

The narration by Brad Gilliam is outstanding. He literally channels the characters, expressing their emotions; I felt every word.

I absolutely enjoyed this book can't wait to hear the second book in the series. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Loved it - need the next one ASAP

This audio-book was awesome. It was filled with a storyline that was action packed and left me on the edge of my seat, as well as wonderful characters you cannot help but fall in love with. Derrick, Fallon, Sean and Theo were beautifully written. Although some of the storyline were at times hard to hear, the underlying emotion of the narrator was done so well that it left the listener wanting more. Another masterpiece by Kelly Moore - I cannot wait to see where Theo's story goes next.

Heart pounding

This was more than a romance and more of an action story with a little romance thrown in.. It was a little confusing initially because there was repetition but from the beginning of the story, my heart was pounding. There was a lot going on and the story spans years but the overall story worked to build strong feelings towards the characters. This story was full of excitement and heartbreak, the discovery of Nina's betrayal broke my heart and that was just the first few chapters. And then the pain that Derrick suffered, with PTSD, survivor’s guilt and guilt of trusting the wrong person, as well as reentering into civilian life. I’m sure that many of our soldiers suffer from these emotions and Kelly Moore did an amazing job bringing this type of emotion onto the page.

Brad Gilliam is excellent. Great emotion. I mean, I teared up and cried during some of his really painful scenes. I probably would have if I read the book but he really brought it to life. I will DEFINITELY be searching out more books by him. The only thing is that he didn't differentiate between the male and female voices much so sometimes, if I wasn't listening carefully, I found it a little difficult to follow. 4.5 stars for both the story and the narration.

I requested and received this audiobook, although I bought the ebook.
