What happens when a lioness with dubious accounting practices gets involved with an auditor for the IRS?

the story was great and also super entertaining but i would have like a little better performance by the reader she was monotone

Romance, passion, danger (mostly because of the hero), and lots of amusing scenarios . Their being unable to trust each other so early with the monumentous secrets that affect not only themselves but others is totally believable. In her case it could lead to his death. In his case it could lead to her imprisonment. It did have a fascinating ending that I really enjoyed.
