I absolutely loved each and every book! each character, their story lines, the narrator's, and most importantly the final volume of the series did Justice to the build-up to the nemesis. but I truly truly enjoyed the fact that the story lines were either closed, let you know those who made it how their lives continued on, endor let you know there may be future adventures for a few of the characters. This is a series I'm sure in a year so I'll pull out and listen to again.! excellent excellent job Kristen Ashley!!

I was sitting at my desk working with tears rolling down my cheeks because KA killed off the character I most wanted a happy ending for. GAH! My emotions!

Histrionics aside, a talented cast brought to life an epic fantasy that I'm sure I will revisit periodically.

most romance novels/novels with this much sex and romance fall on tropes and are predictable and annoying. this is an epic fantasy with really great world building and character development that also has a shite ton of sex scenes. honestly, I could have done with fewer sex scenes and more or a faster paced story, but all in all I loved this.
