Oh I loved this story and narration was perfect!

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This was a wonderful book by ALY Martinez- the story was compelling, lots of angsts and you really could feel the love between the H/h, and wanted to see them reunite after tragic events tore them apart! Excellent casting of Jason Clarke Andi Arndt for narrating this unforgettable love story. I loved it. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really have to sit and think about this one. There was a lot of emotions and a lot of heavy topics here.
The flashback scenes to their childhood were sweet and there was a lot of attention there to build that solid foundation of their relationship. I think this was important, as Ramsey was only 17 when he went to prison, there wasn't a lot of time to build it.
On the night they lost their virginity, Thea was then raped by someone she knew. Ramsey made a plea deal at 12 years later was out on parole.
Now a man, who grew up locked up in prison, Ramsey must learn to adjust to the world, to his feelings. His sister Nora and Thea have become sisters in the 12 years he was away, and they want their family back.
There was a LOT - and I mean a LOT of sad times in this book. The narration of Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke did a fantastic job. It was heavy and at times a hard listen.
With two hours left, the tide turns on this story. There are 'things' that happen. That's all I will say. Your outlook on much of the story changes somewhat.
It was a good story, but definitely you need to be in the mindset for it.

I am so glad to have found author, I enjoyed this combination of friends to lovers and childhood sweethearts. This story griped at all the string for the tragedy that separated this couple and the needed redemption of what I would say a secondary character was a must.

I'd say it was tearjerker all thru out but the HEA made it worth without spoling the story it all started with a major plot twist and a confirmation of the Huge heart the Hero has.

narrator as always brought the story to life so perfectly.
