It's not just baseball!

I really enjoyed this book. Honestly, I'm not typically drawn to read sports romances. But most of the time when I do, I enjoy them. This was a nice read, not a ton of angst other than should we be together and let's hide??? But I really loved the characters, and you can't go wrong with Lisa Renee Jones writing! Narraters were spot on. New to Ava, but love Christian Fox!!!! Thank you!

Baseball, reporters, love and more

Love the story! Ava and Christian did a great job narrating the story. Can't get enough of it. I love Brad and Amanda's chemistry. Their chemistry and trust makes my heart melt.

finding themselves

Loved these two together. Their pull to each other was front and center from the start, they both just needed to find themselves first. Ava and Christian were perfect narrators and I especially loved when he spoke in his teammates voices!

Another good story

Although it's not my favorite by Lisa, I did enjoy the story!! Not sure the audio was quite right as it sounded off to me. Loved getting to know the characters. Lisa did great setting some characters up for follow up books. Overall, I'd recommend :-)

Quick Hot Baseball Romance

Sexy pitcher becomes involved with a pretty female reporter. The dialogue is crisp, the scenarios believable enough, and the romance is sexy but not over the top. The heroine had a sports injury which makes her sympathetic and relatable but would have also been realistic to have had her say that her times just weren’t fast enough and she could not push it more because of her injury. Ava Erickson is a very good narrator but it was interesting that while the other Texas natives had accents (including Brad, Curt, and her sister Kelly and her Dad, her character of Amanda had no accent. Also as a former competitive swimmer, the chances are mor likely she would be swimming in a 1 piece, even a high cut sexy one than a bikini for ease of movement in the water. That aside, this story was a fairly simple, sweet, and sexy romance, very easy to listen to- a light read, predictable but pleasant with a happy ending. A good Kindle/audible combination.
