Meet "Sweetwater" and "Sundance" — two of the most outrageous and daring jet jockeys ever to sit behind the controls of an F-14. Assigned to the aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk, these boys are living life to the fullest: harassing Russian recon planes...raising hell on shore leave...testing the limits of their jets, their commanding officers, and their own reputations as the Navy's best.
Sweetwater Gunslinger 201 is a Top Gun novel that tells it like it really is. A high-flying adventure you'll never forget....

I read this book several times in the 90s, so I was very excited to find it on Audible. Sadly my excitement turned to disappointment once I listened to it. The narrator, while having a good voice, his cadence and voice inflections of words and syllables is reminiscent of when someone imitates William Shattner. His voice barely changes when different characters have dialogue. I made it through half a chapter, then turned it off.
I sampled other books that are narrated by John Teal and they are the same.
I will be returning this one and purchasing the book.
Narration is awful But the Story is great.
