disappointing

I had such great expectations for this story, its different not the same stuff repackaged. I loved the characters and the narration. The story line was lacking. I kept wondering what the whole thing as in the story the purpose of the characters was about. Its in there it just takes second place to her relationship with her guardians and while I'm not a prude I need more substance in a story this struck me as more erotica than anything else. I won't waste my time on book 2 because it didn't leave me with a need to find out what happens next

This audiobook has great narration by Vanessa Moyen and Lucas Webley. They always manage to pull me in and their names were what essentially convinced me to buy this audio.

The story was decent with overall likeable characters. However, the heroine is supposed to be thirty, but feels a lot less mature than that. If her age wouldn't have been mentioned, I would've assumed she was 20/21 at most which for me felt like her character wasn't thought out very well.

The pace of the book is pretty slow and I found myself missing more character depth and plot development in general. It was entertaining enough, but I'm still undecided if I would go in the next book or not.

I really tried to get into this book, it had so much potential. It was like someone telling you a story and at the end you go “was that it”? I was left with no answers, no explanations, nothing was really explained. If there were more chapters explaining this unique universe and why the main character is who she is and who these males are to her in her other life. It was really just fantasy smut... I’m a little disappointed

Rip-Roaring Paranormal Action/Adventure/Erotica

Very unique take on several of the old, and some new "monsters." This has them all with our female protagonist as the biggest monster of all!

Really like this book.

I hope book this is made into a series. I am totally involved into the caricatures
