Flojaune​ ​Cofer, PhD, MPH i​s an epidemiologist and serves as the Senior Director of Policy for Public Health Advocates. She manages a team of staff leading health equity initiatives focused on California state policy and public health emergency preparedness.

Prior to joining Public Health Advocates, she led the preconception health initiative for the California Department of Public Health, working to ensure vital maternal health and reproductive services were available statewide. 

For her professional contributions and community participation, she was awarded the Young Professional of the Year Award by the Sacramento Urban League, the Exceptional Woman of Color Award by the Sacramento Cultural Hub, the 40 Under 40 Award by the Sacramento Business Journa͕l, Fem Dems of Sacramento: Sheroes Responding to COVID and the Sacramento Black Wellness Award from the Gender Health Center.
