Have you ever felt spiritually dry. Like you are crying out to God and are hearing nothing. LIke you don’t really feel anything at all. You are doing all teh right things by going to church or having your regular Jesus time but nothing seems to work. You are losing passion for the things of God because you just feel so dry and stagnant? Well today we are going to talk about a few ways to overcome that! I’ll be giving you some ideas to help you with some scriptures to encourage so that you can reignite your passion for Jesus and the plans that He has for you friend! If you are ready for that, let’s jump in!

Quote on the google- Passionate people have an ever-increasing desire to obey Scripture. They want to obey not because it’s a command but because they love Jesus. They love his commands and want to honor him.

How to keep your passion for Jesus?

Change your thinking- fuel your spiritual body as you would your physical body.

1. Fall in love with Him- this take time and intentionality on your part. Spending time with Him and getting to know him through His word, prayer and worship.
2. Admit where you are… it’s ok to be in a dry place. There are mountains, valleys, deserts and oasis’....lots of different seasons and we just need to keep plugging away!
   1. Is. 44:3-4- For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And i will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children. They will thrive like watered grass, like willows on a riverbank.
3. Remember who you are and where God has brought you from-

You are a daughter of the King. You have access to God’s power and authority through Jesus. You are called, chosen, purposed, loved, forgiven…and much more!

Romans 8:28: "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose"

He has good plans for you friend!

Romans 12:11-12- Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Ps 57:1-2- I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until the danger passes by. I cry out to God most High to God who will fulfill His purpose for me.

Life can be overwhelming and sometimes feels like we can’t ever get ahead. There are deep rooted hurts, fears that consume, doubt, insecurity, distractions..you name it. Life can sometimes kick us right in the batooty! And guess what, we can stay here and sulk. We can dwell on what is keeping us down and we can let the darkness consume. BUT if you dont want to do that…there is a better way! You can step into the light and let Jesus hea and strengthen you so you can walk in the fullness of this life that He has for you! So if you want to hear more about living a victorious and full life in Him…let’s jump in!

Today I wanted to start on this topic of living victorious with a little encouragement from the Isrealites! Haha I was reading in exodus recently and I thought this was fitting.

1. God is faithful - even in their constant whining and complaining, He continues to bless them and keep them and ultimately saves them!- this FULLY applies to us and all our complaining lol
2. God provides- Exodus 13:21 by day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to gude them on their way and by night in apillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.

Quick lessons from this!

1. Stand firm & Watch what God does
2. Be still in His presence and wait- trust in Him!
3. Follow His lead/be obedient.- it must have been scary to see the sea part and to be expected to walk through…not knowing how far youd have to walk to if the water would continue to stay parted- i’m sure lots of doubt started to creep in. We have a tendency to forget what God has done and CAN do BUT God is a faithful God and will do what He says!
