  • Argyle Chat: Farewell to a podcast regular, pre-season fixtures and new recruits
    Aug 26 2020
Argyle Chat returns after a brief break (Stu decided to go on holiday) and just as the 'Three Amigos' get together to record once again, one of the regulars announce they are leaving the Herald/Plymouth Live!We bid an emotional farewell at the end of the show (although he has promised to continue being a podcast guest) but only after discussing all the latest goings on at Home Park. Pre-season is well underway with matches played and plenty of new arrivals at the Theatre of Greens. We discuss those and wonder what areas are left for manager Ryan Lowe to address to complete his squad rebuild. The fixtures are out, not that anyone can watch inside stadiums right now of course, but there is some good news regarding live streaming and iFollow from the EFL. So grab yourself a drink (maybe some tissues as well) and enjoy the latest episode of Argyle Chat! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

    Jul 20 2020
Former Plymouth Argyle strikers Martin Gritton and Ian Stonebridge take over the show this week s we take a trip down Memory Lane and relive their days with the Pilgrims. The two were young, wide-eyed footballers dreaming of the big time when they were paired together at Home Park and struck up not just a good partnership on the field but a close partnership off it as well. With the help of Stuart James and Chris Errington, we talk about the 'good old days' and what it was like playing for Argyle at that time, their careers and what they are up to now football is little more than a distant memory. A huge thank you to both Gritts and Stoney for agreeing to do the podcast and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did recording it.So pour yourself a drink (it is a long one this week) sit back and enjoy an hour long special of Argyle Chat.
