The Voice

The woman narrating speaks like William Shatner as Capt. Kirk. She pauses at odd jerky intervals, I found THAT so annoying that it stressed me out.

Love this podcast

I actually LOVE all the stories in this podcast. They are classic hand picked stories.
The narrator has a soothing relaxing voice.
Very relaxing and helpful...so happy I found this.

Puts me to sleep!!

Honestly, I'm agog at the negative comments about the narration. Yes, it's monotone, uninspiring. Thus, it puts me to sleep. I've listened several nights in a row now and have yet to hear more than 5 minutes of the story because ZONK! out I go. It WORKS!

Odd sound quality

I normally love these and always come back but lately the words are so difficult to hear like the bass is way over-modulated. Is that just me?

good but

I like the readers voice and choise of stories. I find as she reads deeper into them that she starts to mumble and has a strange rhythm. I think it's fatigue. I hope she'll give herself breaks, I get a good vibe from her otherwise

Good stuff

I love Taesha’s voice! It is the perfect combination of inflection and sleep inducing monotone. It puts me to sleep when nothing else will

a scary story to sleep!??!!

The performance was perfect for sleeping, but the story was awful!! why would anyone want to hear a scary story to sleep??! After listening to a calmer one, this auto started with the next one I hadn't heard. I was fairly sleepy until I started listening to the words!!

She puts me to sleep every time

This is absolutely the best sleep audio I’ve listened to by far in the last 3-4 years that I’ve been listening to audiobooks to fall asleep.
I never get through the entire story because I’m asleep halfway through.
Highly recommended!
