By: Exactly Right Media – the original true crime comedy network
  • Summary

  • On Buried Bones, journalist Kate Winkler Dawson and retired investigator Paul Holes dissect some of history’s most compelling true crime cases from centuries ago. Together, they explore these very old cases through a 21st century lens. With their years of expertise and knowledge of modern forensics, they reflect on how far science has come and bring new insight to old mysteries. Together, Kate and Paul have examined many cases including the 1932 Lindbergh baby kidnapping, the first time fingerprinting was used as evidence in a courtroom and a possible serial killer in 1960s Nashville. They ask, was the right person convicted or was someone wrongfully accused? See pictures, diagrams and evidence from each case on Instagram @buriedbonespod. so interesting

I love that the hosts do older cases. these are cases from history, that may not be as well known. mostly solved but giving a new perspective. some times they agree with the verdict, if there was a trial, some they don't.

Love the Content

Kate can be annoying. She’s asks Paul questions, but answers them with her opinion first . I don’t know if she’s really awkward , but asks questions with the intent on just talking herself. I want to like her so much. Maybe she’s just uncomfortable

So interesting

Especially in recent episodes they've managed to really mesh their different areas of expertise very well to lay out well-researched and interesting crimes

Great podcast

I love it. It's an interesting concept that is well executed. I just can't spend my entire day listening to them or I start saying shadows in my bedroom at night haha

A great find for true crime listeners

I love this podcast! originally started listening to My Favorite Murder, the parent podcast of this one and it seemed like a natural transition to start listening to this. I love the way the two hosts get along and the back and forth conversations are so informative and interesting to listen to.

Exciting and Enthralling!!

This is my first time listening to a podcast. I tried the first few minutes of a few different ones before finding this one. I started with the woman in the well and am going to listen to part 2 right now. Your voices are calm but not too much. I love the digging in to certain parts for more information. It's enthralling and exciting!! I love true crime stories!!
