Super Hadar!
I'm a non native-speaker, from Italy!
I have resumed studying English since september 2022.
I know that my English is very basic; I need to improve it a lot, but I'll try to say something about the amazing Hadar anyway!
I bump into Hadar's podcast few weeks ago and it was love at first sight!
She's different from other people who want to teach English, mainly 'cause she treats you with deep and authentic respect, like a "normal person" and she doesn't make you feel inferior or stupid.
Moreover, instead of talking only about grammar, vocaulary or pronunciation, she focuses on a critical aspect which is mindset!
It's impossibile to achive our goals, not only in English but in life in general, if we don't trust ourselves, if we have a bad idea about what kind of non native-speaker we are. It could be a trivial aspect but the truth is that everything depends exactly on this!
So let's check out her podcast if you want to change your approach to learning english (and living life)!

A big thank you to have lighten up my day!
I just finished the episode about overthinking. I was so overwhelmed with thoughts that i really wanna say something about it. Overthinking is like an intimate friend to me. I couldn't decide which restaurant to eat with friends, what if they don't like it. I felt so bad after my ielts test that I couldn't chase away the thought that the examiner must have been bored at what I said. I got anxious and upset when I came across what others had done and what little research I'd done, even though I was so happy with my accomplishments a minute before that.
I could think of the reasons for this. Partically, it came from my mother, who influenced me through her daily activities and mindset. But I'm an adult now, right? I need to be responsible for myself and stop consuming myself using this kind of stuff.
While listening to this episode, it came to me that the reason of overthinking for me, is that i am so terrified of failures. Because deep inside myself, failures define who i am, and i'm inhibited by the subconsciousness that i wasn't able to change. But in fact, change may be the most frequently happening thing in our world. It's okay if you make mistakes, you still have chance to learn from them and do it right the next time.
It is all about what Hadar has said in this episode. Awareness is key. Only if you realize it can you break the pattern and do something different.
What also strikes me is the acceptance Hadar talks about. You understand and accept overthinking, and know that you are not your faults. Instead, it may mean opportunities for improvement and growth. It is also acceptance of yourself as a normal person who makes mistakes sometimes and also has the power of doing things right most other times.
And reflection and keeping journals have benefited me a lot, just like Hadar said, when you get the negative thoughts onto the paper, they lose meaning. You realize how harsh you are to yourself. And the stress goes away. Keeping a journal drags you out of the mess when you feel like you are gradually losing control.
"Making no decision is far worse than making the wrong decision." I'm gonna write this down and remind myself on a daily basis. Thank you for this episode and the warm, lovely reminder. Love it!

Easy to understand
I just finished listen the episode for Japanese speaker (I’m a Japanese). Hader analyzed about Japanese pronunciation very well and explained the differences in-between American English and Japanese.
Generally we Japanese don’t need to use tongue and lips when we speak Japanese. Mostly using the throat muscle. So it’s a challenging for us (Japanese) to connect each words smoothly and making the correct sound of consonants.
This episode's exercises worked very well for me.
This site is very helpful for correcting my English pronunciation and easy to understand about American English.

Absolutely perfect!
Non native speakers know very well how easy is to keep adding knowledge and then avoid speaking out of fear of being judge: Hadar in her podcast gives the perfect mix for English fluency by adding mindset tips to pronunciation lessons and you can also get a glimpse of the amazing community of people she built.
I am always amazed of how much quality content Hadar generously gives away and this podcast is an enjoyable company during my walks.
