    Mar 28 2024
The Philadelphia 76ers drop a tough one to James Harden and the LA Clippers in the final seconds of the game, falling 108-107. With five seconds to play, Kelly Oubre drove to the basket after the Sixers gained control off a jump ball, but Oubre was unable to convert as Paul George contested at the rim to prevent the basket. Philadelphia is now 39-34 after the loss with nine games remaining on the schedule. Tyrese Maxey led all scorers with 26 points, Buddy Hield and Oubre added 17 each. Los Angeles posted seven players in double figures, led by George’s 22. Harden finished with a double-double of 16 points and as game-best 14 assists. • PHLY Sixers Podcast | Tyrese Maxey the only 76er to show up in blowout loss to Kings
    Mar 26 2024
The Philadelphia 76ers finished off their West Coast trip with a 1-3 record thanks to a 108-96 blowout loss to the Sacramento Kings. The Sixers fell despite the best efforts of Tyrese Maxey, whose 21 first quarter points helped keep the Sixers in the game. But the rest of his teammates weren’t up to the task, and the Kings pulled away late in the second quarter and never looked back. Maxey finished with 29 points on 10-16 shooting to lead the Sixers. His teammates, on the other hand, ended the game shooting just 24-66 from the field, falling to provide the Sixers’ All-Star with any help whatsoever. Join Devon Givens and Derek Bodner as they break down a disappointing end to the Sixers’ road trip. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
