For our season 2 finale, we thought it'd be beneficial to unpack the episodes from the Education Series with you all. For this series we invited 5 very different moms who either work at a school in NYC, has a child that currently attends a NYC school, or home schooled their children here for multiple years. 

Each episode was completely different in terms of knowledge base, perspective, and experience. We're extremely thankful that we were able to get such a diverse group of moms to discuss the complexities of NYC schools. Priscilla shares a bit of her experience of going to NYC public schools throughout her childhood and why she decided after many years of teaching to open up her own school. It's enlightening to hear her perspective of how Charter Schools can be a solution to failing Public Schools, her views of curriculum, and where she thinks the problem lies in NYC schools in general.
