Today’s reading will a little different.

We will read the children’s classic, Little Bear, by Else Holmelund Minarik.

Little Bear is a young chapter book, a collection of four short stories.  Since the stories are so short, we will read all four.  You can listen to them all at once, or just one or two if you’re feeling sleepy!

This book is originally published in 1957 by Harper Collins.

It’s the story of a sweet young bear cub with his friends and family. Suggested age range for this book is 2-6 yrs old, but anybody can enjoy it!

Parents, I do encourage you to get your own copy of this treasure to follow along at home, the drawings by famed illustrator Maurice Sendak are absolutely darling! Follow this link to purchase your own copy, or, see if you can find it at your local library.

Let’s Read a Bedtime Story is narrated and produced by Niechelle Wade, with cover art by Shreya Penta. Theme music is by Tatiana Gladetskaya.
