    Adorning your knockers on your front door, brightening up your back door, on the wall, or over the mantle piece - your creation and your choice, your Wreath. 

    The history of the Wreath is fascinating and in this episode Lucy and Paulie delve into the wreath over the past centuries. Touching on St Lucy's Day, 13th December, when St Lucy herself wore a wreath on her head to help those in need.

    With a rather fabulous contributor this week from Petal to the Metal, Paul Furness.  Listen to Paul's passions for Amaryllis and how he uses them in his floral decorating for clients. 

    This week for the Floriograohy Festive Fun Facts it's the little prickly hedgerow favourite Holly that takes the stand.  With Christmas approaching it's that time of the year again to forage in the woods, gardens or garden centres near you and pick yourself up some festive green Holly with its bright red berries to add to the decorations.  Did you know it was used in medieval times to wed off witches by making the hedgerows too prickly fo them to run across!?

    And as we are now in mid December, the Fabulous Flowers tv duo, Paulie and Lucy uncover the brith flower for the month and find out that there are in fact a choice of two!
