Fun

Absolutely loved it and plan on listening further to the misadventures of DP and Barb. This trio is just fun to listen to. Reminds me of my days hanging out with friends and playing thru our own campaigns. Never played tabletop Cyberpunk but after listening to these guys, really wish I could.

I never use to like actual play podcasts..

...until I listened to Dark Future Dice! Titus is a great writer and story teller, and witnessing Rowan and Lindsey's growth as roleplayers is such a good time. They've made me laugh out loud in the middle of work on multiple occasions now. I think keeping the group smaller (2 players and a GM) honestly makes this podcast stand out, much less hectic talking over each other and a lot more individual character development. Even if you don't care for actual plays, I strongly recommend this show, it has a similar appeal to an improv radio show, on par with The Adventure Zone and Hello From the Magic Tavern. Check them out!

Dystopia never sounded so good

I'm finishing up Book 2 and I don't want to stop listening, but apparently it's "unprofessional" to turn up a podcast when a customer is asking a question.

The cast is great and their awkwardness is all too familiar to my neurodivergent self. The story is engaging and paints a vivid picture of the corporate nation states. I'm just rambling now, listen to the podcast.

Hilarious

This somehow feels really cyberpunk and not cyberpunk at all. Normally people go to a grimdark/edgey aesthetic to try and be "realistic."
But these goofballs xD.
The GM simply needs to point at obstacles and the players somehow naturally manage to run into and stumble over every one in a hilarious disaster mess. It somehow manages to make the game feel more "realistic" watching them just fail over and over again and laugh at their own frustration. It makes their victories feel that much more sweet.
I can tell they've been friends for while; they have great chemistry.
Highly recommend the listen.
