unbiased accurate and entertaining history

I looked for a long time for a source of History that was chronological, accurate, and detailed and I haven't found anything that comes even close to the British History podcast.

An excellent way to explore the forces of history

Jamie and Zee do an excellent job of bringing history to life, especially from a ground-level perspective of figuring out the social pressures shaping the societies discussed. A lot of time and effort clearly went into parsing sources and reading between the lines.

I also recommend the members feed. It's cheap and the amount of content is enormous at this point.

Irritating narration

I’m not sure why an American is narrating this. It might be ok if he was good, but he’s not. So it’s very incongruous
