Journey to the Fringe

By: Journey to the Fringe
  • Summary

  • Thanks for checking out our podcast! We look at fringe topics often neglected, or ill discussed, in a light hearted and open manner. These topics run the gambit from the mundane water pollution, recycling, and tax evasion to the fantastical moth persons, time travellers, and paranormal. For us there’s no cryptid too creepy, topic too trivial, or djinn to dreary. Also we like to do exposes on assholes of the UFO community. To keep things fresh (and also because we aren’t really sure how to start podcasts) we start every week off with a Fringey Mini recent news article and discussion (It’s the podcast equivalent of not knowing what to do with your hands). And as we say in our intro from the unexplained to the mundane, join us on our journey to the fringe.

Welcome back, it's part 2 of "how is Chelsie going to pronounce 'Paulides' this week"? Fun fact, this episode actually doubles as a drinking game every time Chelsie pronounces 'Paulides' differently (just a suggestion).

Another fun fact, the drinking game is just the sub plot. Aren't episode notes better when we actually write them and we don't let AI do our unpaid jobs for us?

Alright, let's get on with this... it's PART 2 of the David PAULIDES MISSING 411 PHENOMENON, this episode we're focusing more on the MISSING, but also David Paulides.

What's he up to this episode, you ask? I assume you ask because you're reading this. Well let me tell you, it's some stuff. That's for sure.

Some of that stuff includes, but is not limited to; the criteria to make it to his very spooky disappearances list, some critiques of his work, a look at some of the disappearances that David Paulides deems as so spooky it defies all logical comprehension, the NATIONAL PARK SERVICE CONSIPRACY, then some talk about logic and errors... plus...MORE!

Wow, look at all those 178 words. My job here in the episode notes is done, catch you in the episode budddddddddddddddyyy

Ps.) David, if you're reading this please cease and desist the use of Chelsie's patent pending filing system, and more importantly, please send us an autograph. If you need, we can request it on very official paperwork and include so, so many lies. Oh, one more thing please rate us 5*, share the episode and like us on social media. Thankyousomuch Journey to the Fringe XO

  • Peas out minerals
    May 1 2024

Another Wednesday, another Fringe mini. Anyone else still compelled to spell Wednesday in their head like Wed-nes-day? I don't. Anyways, I assume you're here to learn more about the mini and not discuss our head happenings. Speaking of head happenings, you ever feel like sometimes our episode notes turn out just as good if not better than the episode? I don't. Anywho what was I talking about? Right, vegtable's mineral's.

    Hasta la Viernes!

  • Missing 411: the devils in the details... that weren't included
    Apr 26 2024

It's hereeeeeeee, the long-awaited David Paulides, Missing 411 Saga.

    Trigger warning police brutality

This episode we're focusing on the man behind the Missing 411 brand, the man that used to be a police officer and would never deceive you or misrepresent the devils details (see what I did there).

I don't want to give it all away here but, we look at D.P's background in the police force and what he did and why he was fired. It's true, why would I lie, it's not like i've been fired from the police force for reasons unbeknownst to those that haven't listened to this episode and insist on reading these episode notes instead.

Then we talk about bigfoot, love that guy.

    kbye

ps.) there's other stuff but just better to listen kbye
