In this episode, Anne sits down with former co-host Éadaoin Regan to chat about Éadaoin’s medical journey to becoming diagnosed with the chronic illness PCOS, and how this has affected her postgraduate studies. We talk about the impact of her symptoms on her day-to-day research, the financial fallout of the medical care she required, and how the PhD worked as an escape to keep her sane during the most gruelling parts of her ongoing struggle with chronic illness.
