    Apr 7 2024

It's episode 374 and are technical issues bringing us closer together? We're so sorry, YouTube Boozers and Shakers, for the lag (we edited the audio separately so you won't hear the same overlapping issues there). We're making up for it with a new Compliment Christine segment. This week Em takes us way, way back to the origins and dark side of nursery rhymes. Then Christine covers the more recent Polish case of Krystian Bala. And has Em just dubbed Christine the "Princess of Pronouns"? ...and that's why we drink!

We wrote a second book! Pre-orders are open and super important for our ratings so treat yourself to our second spooky travel compendium, A Haunted Road Atlas: Next Stop here - http://bit.ly/HRANextStop

Welcome to April Ghouls: Two Boos and a Lie! This year for April Fool's Eva is bringing us some ghoulish energy and we're terrified. She has artisanally, hand selected two listener stories about "ladies in white", written a third herself and challenged Em and Christine to figure out which one is the imposter story. What impending foolishness! Can you pick the fake? ...and that's why we drink!

Great storylines, but the banter is so boring

On reading the summary of these episodes, the stories sound really interesting. However, these ladies are ALL over the place with their discussions, except about the actual storyline. I’m 1 hour into episode 266 and the only info I’ve gotten about the history of the Oujia board is the name of the inventor & when it was patented. Not worth listening for another hour & half. I can’t believe these ladies view themselves as comedians — painful!

I never thought that I would love a true crime podcast, but something about Em and Christine keeps me coming back. Em and Christine are hilarious together. I am addicted to this podcast. ♡♡♡

Want to love it

I really want to love this podcast. If they would just stop political drama and assumptions of all political parties I could listen.

#ContagiousLaughter and #BFFGoals

I just found you both and absolutely LOOOVEE your podcast! I listen all day at work as I’m trying to work my way from oldest to newest so I don’t know much about you guys yet and even less about your current happenings. I don’t use social media much or I would be following everywhere! So want to join your Patreon but I’m #PoorSauce maybe I’ll get a raise soon and can start contributing to someone else’s #WineFund 🤣 #AndThatsWhyWeDrink #TeamWine

My go to- this gets me through my days and nights

I found this podcast and began from episode one and the more I listen the more I love it. These two are down to earth and super funny! I enjoy mostly the paranormal part but the true crime is also very interesting. They’re also so relatable. I recommend this for anyone who wants to be spooked but also have a good laugh!

Peat Moss was used as a heat source.

Good. Look up Peat Bog and how peat was kept in the home and burned as fuel. Gaelic is Irish. Cape Breton, Nova Scotia in Canada is a fiscally responsible way to see Ireland's sister.
