Important coverage of less-well known history

In these episodes, Alec makes the world of Frederick II accessible to a popular audience, in a way that has never been done before. For many, reading scholarly books and articles on the eighteenth-century is a bridge too far, but listening to podcasts like this one help the past come to life. Alec includes both chronological narrative episodes, thematic analysis, as well as interviews with academic and public historians. A great way to learn about German Central Europe in the eighteenth century!

Very Informative

Alec does a fantastic job breaking down the composition of cavalry. I really had little to no knowledge of cavalry in during the 18th century, but Alec got very detailed listing everything from the uniforms, rank structure and roles of each type of cavalry. Highly recommend this podcast if you are interested in a detailed breakdown of Fredrick the Great.

School Essay

You have to give Alec credit for doing this, he loves his subject and has made a podcast.
It just not for me, It feels like I am listening to a kid reading his school project at the front of the class
I just feel that it needs more polish, but good on you for trying.
