Bay City Theatre Artistic Director Lola Grant is performing the ultimate balancing act: running a small, LGBTQ+ theatre during a pandemic, keeping her family together, and producing a new play- that’s still missing an ending. A new kind of podcast for a different kind of world, New Conservatory Theatre Center’s "In Good Company" is a love letter to the resilience of art, artists, and the places they call “home”. Artistic Director Lola Grant and the rest of the Bay City Theatre family have learned to roll with the punches in the year since a pandemic closed the doors of their home away from home. But with the reopening of the city rapidly approaching, her team falling apart and marriage on the brink, Lola is running out of time to make a stand for her theatre and for herself.
