    Where do we go from here? The Toronto Blue Jays lose the series 2-1 to the Washington Nationals. This was undoubtedly the worst series of the year. The Blue Jays only scored three runs against the worst pitcher in all of baseball, Patrick Corbin. While Yusei Kikuchi was dialed in, going 6 innings strong of one-run ball, the bullpen found a way to throw away the game. In game 2, the Washington Nationals tried their hardest to give the Blue Jays a million runs in the first inning, but the Blue Jays settled for 4. Jordan Romano had a classic Jordan Romano start, leaving people on the edge of their seats by bringing the tying run to the plate, but inevitably getting out of the jam. In game 3, Alek Manoah took the mound for the first time in the 2024 season. With the Blue Jays scoring 8 runs in the game, and the Washington Nationals again trying their hardest to help the Toronto Blue Jays offense, you would think they would come out with a victory.
