  • Your guide to studying/working abroad
    Aug 2 2022

This episode, we talk about studying and working abroad. In our experience, studying and working abroad versus in the Philippines are so different from studying and working in other countries. Sa ibang bansa, especially sa Europe, hindi masyado uso yung may degree and kahit wala kang degree, you still get a good job that pays a lot. And very accessible ang masters/PhD in other countries – you can actually finish your masters in 1-2 years and your PhD in 3 years. Very similar yung education system ng Philippines to the US, but there are so many differences as well. So today we want to talk about these differences and give you some tips if you want to do it too! We have Mima, Julze, and Renee to guide you through how to apply for jobs/studies in the US and Europe/UK.

  • How to grieve for a country: take care of yourself first
    May 28 2022

This episode, we process our feelings about the Philippine elections. In the last episode, we endorsed Leni Robredo and of course, we felt a lot of feelings since the results came out. It has been a roller coaster ride, ika nga. For us migrants, mas mahirap pa because we’re far away from home and it can feel isolating and we can feel even more helpless. Parang ang layo-layo natin. But how can we grieve for a country from far away and what can we do moving forward?

In this episode we have Mima, Julze, and Renee talking about how we process our emotions and how we take care of ourselves for the bigger fight ahead!

  • Para Kanino ang Boto Mo?
    Apr 20 2022

We have the power to vote for a good (or bad) future.
