  • Summary

  • Hello, and welcome to The Connected Singer, with Michael Hill and Julie Thompson. We're both singers and vocal coaches who love researching and learning new ways to keep in tip top shape vocally and mentally. We know that being a performer is a hugely rewarding but also demanding career for mind, body and soul and we want to help you find the balance you need to keep going on your musical journey. Each week, we'll be speaking to performers, teachers and expert practitioners in a range of fields, from psychology to sports science to reiki, who will share their knowledge and experiences, to provide you with a toolkit of ways to keep well, beat performance anxiety, avoid burnout and get the most enjoyment out of the pursuit we all love - singing!
