This is a bi-monthly podcast featuring songs and stories from some lesser known fairy tales and folk stories. Stories which lean toward the grisly and unnerving, stories which might help us deal with the ogres and wicked step mothers in our own lives. Belching up toads, paper dresses, beheadings and murder, this story has them all. I love this Grimm fairytale from the Philip Pullman collection, and I hope you do too?

This is the last episode in Season Three, so please write me a review and remember, storytelling is thirsty work!

What a great discovery! The stories are not so dark as I thought, but Julia Norton is a master storyteller and her accompanying singing is exquisite. Would love to hear her on audio books.

Wonderfully Entertaining

Natural story teller, not just a narrator.
I'm binging hours of episodes at a time, I love it and only wish there was an option to skip the podcast related talk that's tacked onto the beginning and end of sone stories so it's a seamless transition between between episodes (music, story, music, story, etc.) The intro song is great, might be nice if she rotated through a couple songs for variety, but again, only a minor annoyance for those binging entire seasons.

Excellent story teller
