Right Ho, Jeeves!

  • Summary

  • Get ready to be reintroduced to Bertie Wooster and his incomparable valet Jeeves in this podcast adaptation of Wodehouse’s classic comic novel. As chaos descends on his aunt’s house, will Bertie be able to return it to order? Only with the help of Jeeves! Meet Bertie Wooster. He's rich, he's idle, he's hip to all the comforts of 1920s living and quite happy to keep it that way. His valet, Jeeves, is a genius, dedicated to his master's happiness and self-improvement. The pair of them are enjoying a comfortable weekend at Bertie's aunt's house, looking forward to nothing but joy and good living. And a broken engagement. And an accidental engagement. And a drunken newt-breeder. And an enraged virtuoso chef. And a pathologically furious schoolmate. And the potential collapse of every happy part of Bertie's London life. But, apart from that, nothing can go wrong. Audio Issues

I was set to love this, but some of the actors are far from the mic, and a bit hard to make out clearly. Sad really.

Lovely adaptation, faithful to the original book and with a charming cast of actors. Loved the music as well.

A delight!

A delightful telling of Bertie and Jeeves’ adventures with Gussie, Angela, Madeline , Market Snodsbury grammar school prize recipients, and age old debates - was it a shark or flatfish? Glistening Newts or stars as daisy chains? The banter introducing the episodes is witty and such fun. It sounds like an old time radio show- well done!
