This Shit Ship is Sailing to Ever Greater Heights!

The audio quality starts off rough, but dont let that discourage you from listening, as it greatly improves later. The A&D crew works wonderfully together, Drew Hayes (author of Super Powereds, NPCs, ect) leads a group of fellow fantasy authors on a multitude of adventures, and somehow manages to stay (mostly) sane when dealing with their shenanigan's. There have been countless times where i have had to pause the podcast in a laughing fit, and try to process what just happened. If you want brilliant chaos, this is the Actual Play D&D podcast for you.

a rollicking adventure with tons of fun

for a podcast that almost started out with half the party dying due to a well, You wouldn't think that you would care about the characters. But much like a fungus or clammy hands edgar, it really starts to grow on you.

Also, for what it's worth, this got me back into playing D&D after a hiatus of a few years

Funny and Dirty ... no ... DIRTY and funny

This podcast is funny as can be. Robert Bevan plays Paladin of Tor... and Steve Whetherel (spelling) play monk Brandon thigh master. The DM is a man who writes tomes and calls them novellas. The barbarian is a source of healthy manliness. Rick Gaultier plays Claus Richter Notorious Rogue and perverted sorcerer. Last but not least Fandingo the mandingo fantastical. Adventure's! WELLS! and wolves!

Comedic fantasy D&D

Heavy on the comedy! This group of comedic fantasy writers have adventures that I don't think they could dream up individually, but together make for a wonderfully hilarious RPG game. The authors stay true to their characters, which adds another great layer to this podcast, especially because you can tell the authors themselves really like each other, even if their characters don't always get along. Make sure you know where the back button is because you'll likely miss plenty from laughing at their misadventures!

Good podcast. Possibly highly entertaining

This podcast is great but may not be for everyone. The jokes can be crude and sometimes the humor is dark, but it is clear these are all great guys having fun. If you don’t like toilet humor and cussing this is not for you but if you are up for that stuff these guys are funny, have interesting points of views, and sometimes give writing advice

Absolutely Ridiculous and Amazingly Entertaining

I've listened to 14 episodes this week and laughed my self sick the while time. The characters are insane and the players are so amused by each other that their laughter is contagious

Awesome Authors

The comedic fantasy authors are some of my very favorites so I've been overjoyed to hear them team-up together in a game. This podcast is so fun that it always puts me in a better mood.

I love this Podcast

These are probably some of my favorite authors, and how they play d&d is exactly how it's meant to be played.

Best DnD Podcast Available

No, it doesnt have the big name actors, the rockstar dm, or a wizkids endorsement. What it does have is a group of fantastic authors and publishers, playing the game most of us have experienced. Players one-upping eachother, d!ck jokes, a DM flying by the seat of his pants because everything he plans goes to sh!t, and awesome npc’s. Give it 10 episodes. If you get through The Well Of Death episode and meet Brandon Thighmaster and are NOT entertained, something is wrong with you!
