The Loan Officer Podcast

By: Dustin Owen
  • Summary

  • This channel is designed to educate, motivate, entertain and inspire. Basically, our content is “all the sh*t they didn’t teach us in school”. Born from the success of the “The Loan Officer Podcast”, this channel gives me, Dustin Owen (DO), the platform to teach everything I have been fortunate to learn about business, sales, the mortgage industry, personal finance, entrepreneurship, real estate investing plus so much more - All because in 2004 I switched careers and became a mortgage loan originator (Loan Officer). The stories told and lessons taught come from my 20+ year career which has been filled with crazy amounts of success and even more inevitable failures. Our mission is to invite you into the room where it happens. We strive to teach you how to create opportunities even when it can be a struggle to get your foot in the door. While there is content geared specifically towards mortgage professionals, the majority of what we produce will encapsulate the world of personal finance, sales training, real estate investing best practices, homebuying tips, business advice and just about anything else “adults” are supposed to know.

Best Podcast Out There

I can't say enough good things about this podcast. The information provided is invaluable and the fact that it is a free podcast is amazing. I have learned so much listening to all over the over 150 episodes. As a new LO's I devored them in less than 2 weeks time. I even called Dustin and received a phone call back. He spend over 20 minutes of his valuable time speaking with me. I can't find any other podcast out there that I enjoy as much. They have great industry knowledge, pleasant speaking voices, they don't brag about who they are and they are easy to listen to. They just want to share their knowledge and teach others. This is a A plus podcast.
