  • ANNOUNCEMENT: Out Of The Ashes
    Apr 20 2024

OH NO! SRAP WENT AWAY AGAIN!

    Not quite!

The bad news: A fire destroyed my home and I lost everything. The cases and boxes that held our notes, notebooks, dice, and the famous wooden steampunk gear-adorned DM screen I use when I host the show. In fact, this recording was recorded on a cheap headset mic. Please forgive the puffs and pops.

The good news: But...my computer, backup drives, archives, art files, and more were saved!

This announcement is just to let you know we're all okay. No one in my building was injured, and slowly but surely we're all finding new homes. I'm in the process of moving now, and that's why we've missed putting out the last couple of episodes.

Not to worry! They're still here. I just won't be able to hunker down at my desk and edit for a couple weeks yet. If everything goes according to my plan (and I'm ahead of schedule so far), the story will resume with the May episode.

    Until then... Be safe!

Excellent non-d&d real play podcast.

Made me want to read the novel that the podcast is based off of, the general idea is a steampunk alternate history with a set of 3 players. I'm about 15 hours in at time of writing and have enjoyed the way the characters arcs have woven together (despite barely having met) and the combination of humor and drama. The homebrew system is easy to understand as well. All in all, I'm quite pleased with this series.
