    What's on our bench: 🎶

Dan loves working with his helper, whipped out a pizza peal, he got a new dust collector, he loves his 3D printer, and is working on a new youtube video.

Braden is dealing with finished projects taking up space, planning for pop-up shops and craft fairs, optimizing his shipping and signage for shipping and craft fairs, he picked up a kitchen island build, and released a new 3D printed product!

Pete picked up sapele with keith from willard brothers for his adirondack chairs, decluttered his shop a bit by gifting his neighbor some workshop items and moving his lathe into storage for now, and celebrating his 4 year wedding anniversary / 12 year dating anniversary,

    Questions:

    Morgan Hop

How do you guys stay consistent with your recording?

    Thomas

    latelieraboie

Hey! Thomas here with a question about painted nots.

Almost a year ago I made this huge book shelf for pine board and I painted it white as demanded by my client. I even use a primer but last week I went there to discuss a new project and looking at the book shelf I noticed that all the nots were visible as if they absorb all the white paint.

    Any idea what happened there?

    How to avoid this?

    Thanks!

How do you deal with your business being on your property?

Where do you dispose fo your sawdust?

    Sarah Goldstein

    Rosie's Woodshop

I've been thinking about bringing a lathe to craft shows to do live demos, but i am having a hard time with logistics. Please help!

How do you price out your lasering? By time? Is there a website like there is for 3D printing? Should I just see what it sells for on etsy?

    One example is birth milestones

    Questions:

    Patrick Gensal

Dan can you give me your exact dimensions, material, and keywords for the C tables and slide tables? k thanks!

    Sarah Goldstein

    Rosie's Woodshop

These questions all pertain to in person craft shows.

    1. So last year I made as much as I could, but didn't have my own shop so I bought things wholesale from some friends and sold them. They sold really well and I'm debating to do them again. What are your thoughts?

    2. Do I go ham and make a ton of pens or learn something new with my new machines? I only have maybe an hour through monday-friday each day and Saturday to do stuff.

    3. Do I have many diverse items with low count or a lot of the same things for craft shows with high count?

    4. Should I premake ornaments with what I think they should say or just have samples and let people pick what they want (but then they are waiting around for it to laser). I can still add customizations.

    5. I over did the craft shows last year and got burnt out and took off January and February, how do I avoid that? I don't think I'm going to sign up for as many shows but I do enjoy them.
