Invite yourself inside, Embraced by endless love, As you reflect on long ago. LONG PAUSE The whispers they come, Reminding you where you’re from. Perhaps even tears, As you sink into past years. LONG PAUSE See if you can imagine, A moment as a child, When you stood in shock or pain. In this moment you created, A story about yourself, It anchored itself in your brain. PAUSE Now imagine that you, In this moment now, Knelt and hugged that child. You feel them melt, Into your arms, As your love spreads wild. PAUSE Blue light spreads, Gentle healing threads. Let the knots unfurl, Recreate your world. LONG PAUSE See if you can find, Another moment in time, When another dark memory was born. Now hug them again, This innocent child, Until all of the darkness is gone. LONG PAUSE You are loved, Your are free, You’re safe in this world, sweet one. Let all of those binds, Unravel and fall, Let the deep healing be done. Oftentimes, we’re left with wounds from the ending, That can stay with us for a long time. So today we’ll be creating space for closure for these friendships, So we can let them go, Forgive, And move on. So let yourself settle in, And take a big, deep breath, Signaling to your body and mind that it’s time to slow down. PAUSE… Surrender to the gentle rhythm of your breathing, Letting it soften you, Open you, And calm you. LONG PAUSE… There may be wounds inside. Memories of old friendships, The laughter and the tears. PAUSE… See if you can see deep into the wounds, Those moments of disappointment, Sadness, Anger, And fear. PAUSE… Now as you breathe, See if you can imagine a soft light coming down upon these memories, Covering these wounds, And slowly, With every single breath, Healing them. Listening to Learn to let go

Sometimes I have a hard time of just letting go of the daily requests and my mind continues to race. so I started listening to meditation for women. I enjoy the voice that guides the meditation, she is very soothing. I’ve just started listening and do hope this will be a nightly practice for me.
