  • Episode 172: Why People Don’t Heal and How They Can (Part Two)
    Apr 17 2024

Welcome to Part II of the book review… the book being Why People Don’t Heal and How They Can by Caroline Myss. In the last episode we got deep into ways people consciously or subconsciously interfere with their own healing. In this episode we’ll be focusing more on ways those who CHOOSE to heal can do so! I really love this book and although it’s not specifically written for a bariatric audience, it applies! And, it applies to anyone struggling with any disease, so please – share this podcast and recommend the book! Let’s get started!

Great episode

I really needed to hear this. Keeping expectations realistic is a thing. I was a fortunate one who was able to lose 100% of my excess weight (155 lb weight loss) but the last bit of it was me, not the surgery. It is hard work.
