The TTRPG Podcast You Need To Listen To.

This is likely the best starting point for potential TTRPG players. The characterizations are great, as is the story of The Enemy Within campaign that they're following, but the strength of GPoPA is the fact that these folks are genuinely longtime friends. Many other TTRPG podcasts come off as a production first, but this show has the feel of playing with your friends, and that's what you want. By Holy Sigmar, listen to GPoPA!

phenomenal actual play

this is the best warhammer acrual play I've ever listened to. the players actually sound like they're having fun instead of attending a funeral for their characters. the GM is responsive and makes good calls on the fly, and if they mess something up, they mention it later and try to fix it. excellent for learning to play if you haven't run the system before.
you can tell these guys are all friends in real life, and even when there's internal conflict they make it part of the story. I fell in love with Mena episode 2, but Karl really becomes the heart of the group shortly after. Lucky is the dick of the party, and bruno's the mouth.
great group, great game, great fun. Will listen to while pooping again.

I wish I found this 6 months ago.

Currently only on episode 36 but it's been a blast. The PCs are great and well played. It's definitely made me laugh a lot and I can't wait to get caught up.

If you love the Warhammer Setting and WFRP 4E this Show is amazing as it combines the Fun parts with the more serious and atmospheric parts perfectly. Great Characters Ingame and off the Game. Keep up the Great Work!

Mina ears are Lucky to Carl up w/ a Mammoth show

This is, by far, the best actual play podcast I’ve found. The players bring their characters to life with real role-play that doesn’t feel overdone. The campaign and pacing are excellent. The GM is horrible in the best ways.

It’s engaging. It’ll make you feel like you’re at the table. It’s often laugh-out-loud funny.

Truly an amazing listen! The characters and people are very funny and entertaining!! I normally don't review podcasts (I never stay interested long enough). Very Lucky to have found this show.

There's only so many podcasts I'm willing to listen to in a given week, this is totally one of them. I can't describe how heavily I enjoy this show, the GM is bad, but he's very good 👌 at being a Bad GM. The players are all good, except for Mina who is too deadly for Luckys friends own good. Carl is probably hot, and Bruno is probably unseasonably warm. Lucky is awful and should probably be off the show asap.

lucky is the best

I love lucky. To me he ranks among scanlan/Knott in terms of how funny he is and role playing. I do worry that no one is helping him get any kind of armor.
