One of the GREATEST audio dramas ever

I was looking for something entertaining to listen to and stumbled across this. I was immediately invited to make myself cozy by the campfire and never wanted to leave. The soundscape captured in these episodes, the voice talent, the sound engineering, foley art, all of it is what I expected from our advances in audio technology. Hands down, this is a staple broadcast and instant classic in the history of radio theatre.

Theater for the mind

It is really hard to find good podcasts that will keep you enthralled. Campfire Radio is one of those good old fashion shows. For a free podcast, the production quality is extremely high quality. John Valentine and his team are superb. The stories can keep you engaged and if the right atmosphere is present....downright scary. Rites of Autumn & RIP 1&2 can be downright creepy and if you have a fear of dentists...definitely avoid "The Dentist".

The ONLY problem is, because they have such a high standard, there is usually a delay on the release of episodes. Annoying for sure, but whats the old saying....all good things come to those who wait.

Absolutely love this Podcast. Hidden treasure.

Been a fan of this show for years now. Personally, I would love Amazon to pick this up for a series, even though I'm a diehard OTR fan. I hope John never stops making these!

A deliciously horrific podcast!

The writing, the casting and production quality is stellar. Beats Nosleep by a mile! This podcast needs a lot more love than it gets.

Excellent Scary Fun

I could go on and on about this podcast. If you are a fan of horror, twists and suspense, look no further. Each short podcast story is well acted and harkens back to the golden age of radio drama but with modern conventions. I hope this continues on for a long time.
