    2024 marks 35 years since an 11-year-old boy was abducted from a dark rural road in 1989 in St. Joseph, Minnesota, a small community with a population of less than 3,000. This case terrified the community, stripping their safety & sense of innocence. This case went on to become one of the biggest mysteries in the state’s history & was unsolved for nearly 27 years.     This is a case of a grisly quadruple murder that happened in April of 1981 at the Keddie Resort in the tiny northern California town of Keddie, California. Many years before this horrific night, the resort was considered idyllic & included a rustic hotel, bar & restaurant nestled in the woods along the Feather River. It was founded in 1910 as a getaway where 33 cabins were available for rental & vacationers would fish for trout in the rivers or walk the beautiful trails. In its heyday, the Keddie Lodge Restaurant was packed with patrons who dined on barbecued bear ribs & sherry-basted racoon steaks.

One of a kind, simply AWESOME!

I never write out reviews, but I had to on this one. Mike and Allison are just amazing. From the back-and-forth banter in the beginning, to the cases and storylines- they hit the mark every, single podcast! There are a lot of true crime podcast out there, and to be honest I lose interest in most after a couple of minutes. This was not the case with crime and coffee couple. I was hooked from the first episode, even subscribe to their Patreon. You can tell they pour their heart and soul into every single podcast. Trust me, download and follow this podcast if you are a true crime fan. You will not be disappointed!

Better than the rest!

I have heard lots of other crime podcast and I have to say Mike and Alison totally crush it! It’s so clear that they put a lot of time and effort into the research of the stories. Their own personal stuff added to the mix is very entertaining and the cherry on top of great story telling. Love them! Please keep being awesome!

I have been listening since day one here in audible and I love you guys so very much. I listen every Sunday but my oldest son loves hearing your banter so we listen on the way to school on Mondays as well! I love everything about your podcast!

I love listening to you both. Mike i love your dirty yet humorous mind and Alison love the Amazon reviews you do. I have gotten a few amazon items from you so thanks. You both make me laugh and I appreciate your down to earth chat before you get into the stories. Love how you both tell stories though Alison your my favorite as you just tell the story so flawlessly. Giving Back the Love

Love this couple. Crime talk with friends. They tell these stories with respect for the victims and the families on both sides. They are real. If something bothers them or is horrible they express it, you can hear it in their voices.
