  • Ep 458: What Is Your Truth
    Mar 11 2024

Telling the truth is the ultimate act of love, even when it hurts or is unpleasant. Fear and discomfort often hold us back from fully embracing truths. Truth telling requires courage. Today, we dive into the nuances of accessing and embracing your truth. I also share some truth of my own that I recently came to terms with, which while uncomfortable, is a relief to acknowledge and share with this community.

Throughout the episode, we explore the tools and practices to help you access your truth. We also unpack the risks of speaking your truth, such as personal and societal repercussions, and how to navigate this while staying honest with yourself. We discuss how to embrace the evolution of truth and give compassion and grace to those who share their truth with you.

  • Ep 457: The Pleasure of Self Respect
    Mar 4 2024

Today, we explore the beauty and pleasure of self respect and its role in cultivating personal growth, fulfillment, and healing within yourself and your relationships. We examine self respect through the lens of The Erotic Priestess archetype, who embodies respect, reverence, and divine communion, serving as a guide for integrating spirituality, sensuality, and sexuality into your holistic human experience.

We discuss how self respect is related to self awareness, self knowledge, self acceptance, and trust – the pillars of the Embodied Self Love Framework. We also dive into the meaning of the word erotic, which comes from the Greek word eros, and discuss the transformative power of love in its purest form. Plus, we take a look at Audre Lorde's essay "Uses of the Erotic," which exemplifies the significance of the erotic as a source of great power.

In episode 457 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:
